I inherited a small Pastoe chest with drawers in birch just like the one in the link below. The veneer is unfortunately quite damaged and some parts are missing.
Can anyone recommend a specialist in restoring this kind of furniture in Belgium or the Netherlands?

Thanks a lot in advance

There's a firm selling all kind of woods
and woodbased products (mdf,multiplex..) in Kortrijk: Lagae.
They have a speciality shop, where they sell rare woods and the guy responsible is (I believe) specialised in marquetry and restoration of antique furniture.
Maybe this would be easy for him?
Just contact Lagae for more info (and let me know: I have a little door myself in light oak, of wich the veneer is splitting)
Good luck!

Thanks BJ! I'll contact Lagae...
Thanks BJ! I'll contact Lagae and will let you know.
Apparently there is also a workshop in the Ghent area that specializes in midmodern restoration (rather than antiques and marquetterie in general). Does this ring a bell with anyone?

is it called 'a modern view'?

I've done
some birch re-veneering and it's not too bad. A feasible effort
