Repairing the world  

Tikkun olam (Hebrew: ת×?ק×?×? ×¢×?×?ם) is a Hebrew phrase that means "repairing the world" rather than post this important phrase on a un important thread that i started about that I went to a new store.......
I thought that I would start a new thread where this could get some real attention .
On the other thread it got to the point that once again someone was talking about Chinese imports and i brought up the fact that i am anti chinese cause of there Human rights issues,
HP brought up the fact that why would i tout stores that sell reproductions if I was so anti Chinese , I have stated many times about how this furniture made in China is good quality I own it and have really examined it to attest to its quality , for what it is reproductions of designer modern furniture .
But the issue at hand is the Human rights Issue of Chinese people building furniture or any other products at sub sub wages .
I in good conscience can not recommend any stores or will i recommend stores that knowingly sell Chinese goods, Yes I know This is very hypocritical on
my part since I own so much of there goods,
This is no statement of atonement Just a mere statement that this writer will not support the Chinese any more as long as they are not fair to there own people.
We here in America are Capitalistic have been for a long time and that is what makes our country so great
but we are great to our labor force and would never allow sub par wages and un human treatment to our people . if that makes our products more expensive that is sad but at least we can feel good about our self, to our most valuable assets our work force,
We do have some problems sticking our noise where it does not belong but that has not always been a bad thing we have helped out when we have seen wrong and tried to right it , Europe would not be where it is today with out our help.
I am not trying to be Political only right,

That is why I adopt this phrase which i have known for years and used by many wise men Tikkun olam
repairing the world, and it needs to start with repair to China ,
