Guys,
I am a woodworker in Dallas, TX and buid and repair a lot of modern furniture and cabinetry. Recently I was tasked with reproducing some Cado rails in walnut. Man, it was an arduous task! I finally did manage to succeed at reproducing them with a great amount of accuracy!
Is there anyone out there who still needs some made? Please hit me up, I can hopefully help!

Cheers,
Bart

I'm interested in four rails. Not in a hurry. Ballpark price for walnut?

Sorry Dick,
Since I posted this I made a few but then the jig became unreliable! I had to decommission it. Ive got 1 in walnut left that is actually an original and not a reproduction, its $200 and immaculate.
Let me know if you are interested in it!

I'm little more than an armchair woodworker, but could some of you folks that have tried/succeeded explain what is so difficult about this? It seems more tedious, to me, than complicated? Again, I am basically a layperson when it comes to this stuff. Just getting everything precise, or?

I inherited a beautiful Cado system wall unit from my folks. I have 5 rails and would really like a 6th. I am seeking a single rail (the type with the two parallel rows of holes for pegs). Does anyone have one for sale or know how to purchase one? Thanks.

Did you ever have any luck finding rails?

Hello, I just made a move and I lost some wall rails, it is very difficult to buy loose, you can give me information of that template to manufacture it. Greetings and thanks from Spain

Most of the pertinent posts in this thread are from longer than six years ago and many members have long since stopped participating in forum discussions.

Not technically CADO, but CADO inspired and illustrates one approach that could be adapted to fabricating replacement rails:  https://www.finewoodworking.com/membership/pdf/357935/011276032.pdf

@indiana64, You are quite welcome and welcome to the forum!

Please be aware that any dimensions in the PDF may not match those of Cado System components. The basic approach should help if you have some experience with woodworking. Best of luck!
