Just came across this free video that Vitra has posted online,in the last few days.
( I haven't watched it all yet; it is long )

I wonder if the dress code at the Vitra Design Museum dictates all black all the time and if only curatorial staff are allowed to wear white gloves so as to signal status.
@tktoo2. 🤣
Haven't watched the whole video...yet ; 90 minutes it is a bit of a commitment , considering the average attention span for a human!!
So far, spotted a couple of "manual handling" errors... just saying... 😉
Glove colour / status ?.. a conundrum.
Maybe you could contact them and ask...it would be interesting to see if you get a response.

"Manual handling errors" lol! Yeah, I noticed it, too, right off the bat with the DCW (or was it an LCW?). The ladies, though, are obviously well-trained.
You may already know this, but I've been involved with museum collections and all phases of museum exhibition installation since 1983. I can state with some authority that curators, as a group, are by far the worst when it comes to handling art or artifacts. Exhibition designers, OTOH, well, they're not even allowed to touch. And artists? Please, just no.
The blonde-on-black-on-black look. It's like a cliche of a caricature of the nineties BoBo scene which was like a caricature of a cliche of the post-WWII Beat scene. One of my favorite long-time freelance art handlers (nearly my age!) still shows up for work in all black. I razz him about it every time. His response is that he only does it when he's working with me.
