Indeed they are. I'm one of those people who gravitate to the dog and won't look the owner in the eye. Creepy, I'm sure. When I'm breakfasting outside the café, I give bits of bread -- and egg, which they like too -- to the sparrows who nest in the barrel-tiled roof above. Last month they and their cheerful chirping were suddenly gone. Silence. After some weeks some of them (the same ones ? I don't know) were back -- but absolutely silent, for days. Now there's some chirping. Odd.

I secretly hid out on my patio waiting for the sweet boat to return...and snapped another blurry mess. I was busy looking out of my binoculars at the crew. Very professional. Must be 6 or 7 handsome sailors, yup. All matching. Mostly brunette. No ink. True.
