But as long as people are just willing to take him at his word--that he alone knows how to fix ALL THE PROBLEMS---and not think for themselves like someone with more than two brain cells would, he has a chance of winning.
This is especially weird now because I really thought his followers are the same people who freak out about the commie threat, y'know? Are they maybe not aware of the Putin connection?? Like, are they just getting their Trump news from Trump's twitter feed??!??!
I'm thinking this is why Trump hasn't made his tax returns available---because they will show that he is in a lot of debt to Russian banks.
I wish Hillary was squeaky clean but they'd probably just make up lies no matter what. GAAAAAAH

At least you know that everybody's dirty laundry will get over-exposed between now and election day, so rest assured all the stuff that Donald tries to hide will come out.
(The news cycle will demand it!)
We already know most of Hilary's stuff. Over the years and recently.
But Donald is a walking treasure trove of dirt! And they will find every last bit.
It's gonna be fun when the real crap can no longer fly under the radar, and Donald has to answer.
But I know there is always a chance that this bad dream continues right into a Trump presidency…. Cough cough….. Heck, he made it this far, so I am appropriately worried, just like you.
Since the media loves a horse race, I'm sure it will be played as going down to the wire. After all, there is a lot of money to be made from exploiting the Trump train wreck.

Two instances of news-media behavior that might give one pause: the failure to probe the (false) claims of Weapons of Mass Destruction that Saddam Hussein supposedly held, prior to the invasion of 2003, and the similar reluctance to delve and reveal the shenanigans on Wall Street leading up to the 2008 melt-down. The media have had a hands-off, "nothing to look at here -- move along" tendency which makes one long for the good old days of muck-raking Yellow Journalism of a century and more ago . . .

Now you're scaring me SDR!
You're right, there have been plenty of "free pass" moments in history. And if they can look the other way on something as big as the JFK assassination, I guess they can do it with anything Donald. Including his indebtedness to Putin. He still hasn't shown his tax returns….
So yes, let's hope for some good old yellow journalism. Or at least that the powers that be decide it is necessary to take him down.
I DO care HOW it happens, but in this case I won't be picky.

I blame the major TV networks' decision in the 70s to make news reporting turn a profit. Ever since then, the "news" that gets reported has been what people want to hear, what they'll tune in to to watch and thus boost ratings. And then the viewers believe those stories are the most important things that happen because HEY! it's on the teevee!
Meanwhile, Donald Trump was up early tweeting. How does he have time to tweet as much as he does? Or is that part of Making America Great? Tweet a lot of stuff?

According to one reporter who embedded (ugh) with him for a time, the man spends every waking moment near one device or another, constantly watching to see how he is covered by the media -- and, presumably, what's happening on social media as it affects him ?
With the 24-hour news cycle, this becomes a full-time occupation. Whew. Narcissism writ large . . .

"Imbedding" with the Donald.
Ugh is right SDR.
A new twitter day, and he is now backpedaling saying "just kidding"…. about inviting the Russians to hack the USA.
A train wreck I tell you!
This will not end well.
It's sad to think that no matter how bad it gets, 45% of the population will vote for him.
45%!
And it's very little comfort that 55% to 45% is the modern day "landslide" for elections.
A sad black eye indeed for America.
On the bright side, its nice that we are assured of having a long overdue woman president.

Value is $1.25. Amount paid. ROI is too low for consideration. Image filed and the book has been packaged for long term storage.

I'm not at home. The sky here isn't so colorful but the rest of the view is pretty cool.

Hi Spanky!
Could that be eastern Illinois? They have the finest food in the world, and it all comes on a plate.
Best,
Your Aunt Mark

Yes, it could be!
I have already had the best roast chicken ever, the best cheese 'n' prosciutto ravioli ever, the best IPA ever, and a few other best things ever, and there are still a few meals to go! Plus I got a bottle of beet ketchup in Wisconsin that I'm very excited about.

Aunt Mark,
Was it this building? We're on the 11th floor! Lollapalooza is going on across the street and I'm really glad I'm not a dumb 19 year old. But this is the last night and tomorrow we are going to Lurie Gardens. Yay!
