The really bizarre thing is, I took those two photos out of the bathroom window, half an hour ago, pushing aside the shower curtain and straddling the tub with one foot. I rested the camera on the sill, aimed and shot, looked at the screen, reset the camera on the sill, aimed and shot again. A complete fluke or Christmas miracle: the two shots matched -- I had to crop less than 2 percent off the top and side on one shot, the same off the bottom and side of the other. I had decided a red-light shot and a green-light one would be cute . . .
Oh -- and yes, I do need a new camera.
