Personally,
I can't stand driving more than about 45 minutes, but in the area in which I live I have had extremely good fortune in finding what I desire very close to home.
If you are geographically isolated etc. I suppose you might have to travel farther out to get what you want. Driving long distances does not suit my lifestyle, however.
That looks like a pretty sharp desk but I wouldn't endure any suffering for it.
