I'm trying to research William Watting. Does anybody - maybe @wesemael - know anything about his work for Fristho? How long did he work for them? He must have left Denmark in 1955 and I would love to know what happened to him.

@herringbone Watting worked for Fristho in the 60's  from 54 till 61 his Modernart serie are dated and produced by fristho . The name modernart was used by fristho for the Modrenord/made in holland furniture designed by watting  wich was produced in  licence It is not clear who  produced the modernord/made in holland.  The list of his furniture for Fristho is quite long I can take pictures  or you could try to find the book on fristho second hand? About his presonal live i  and my source cant help you

@wesemael Thanks a lot. Can you tell if there were new pieces added after 1956 or were they all introduced at the beginning? And would you mind to post like two or three photos? Don’t need more. 👍

@wesemael Thanks. That’s interesting.

 But more question I have: Is he referred in the text as a Danish designer or an American if at all? He is widely regarded American but I believe he was a Dane.
