Thank you in any event

They said the "Eames molded plywood chair"
...which does not specify the LCW. It could be any of them, or all of them.
I like them all, but personally I think the DCM and LCM are more successful designs than the DCW and LCW and I can lay out a thorough argument for my reasoning.

Dear Pegboard, please share your reasoning. Personally I like the LCW and DCW better and that's strictly from the aesthetic perspective.

Personally
I like the LCW and the DCM. The LCM is quite pleasing too though (have read Pegboard's reasoning before... :)).

You mean from an engineering...
You mean from an engineering / design perspective or simply a manufacturing one? I am a product designer so this interests me.
I have always loved the LCW, but have my fair share of LCMs, and like both, though it seems the LCM gets much less love these days than it deserves.

DCM!!
DCM is my vote over DCW. DCW too chunky. I prefer the marriage of metal, rubber, and wood. Not in black. Maybe oak or walnut, something with a strong grain. Charles even sat in a DCM in the Playboy article so perhaps he felt the same way?
