Dr Poulet!
You should sell some things and get the things your really desire! Especially if space is an issue. Take a photograph and remember when you had things. But make no mistake; having a set of streamlined objects that look beautiful together is ten times more important than having a room stuffed full of this stuff. It's potential being squandered or stifled.
Dr. Poulet - More space would definitely be nice! I'm still really new to this so the stuff I have is not going to be the stuff I have in a year : ) I am always looking to upgrade/switch as I learn more. Threads like this and the latest things you acquired help point me in the direction of designers and pieces I would otherwise not know about.
Has anyone sat in Grete Jalks high back chair for Poul Jeppesen (PJ56)? Being tall I would love to get a high back lounge chair and this one looks pretty darn nice.
@ Kyle. The point is that I don't want to sell anything as most of the pieces I have were on my wishlist 1 or 2 years ago (Safari chair by Klint, J16 rocker, #35 bench from Kjersgaard, etc.). I remember thinking "One day, when I will be old and rich, I will splurge and buy a Munkegaard desk" when visiting Klassik M
Dr Poulet, my advice was wrong then, and that is a great collection, that actually looks beautiful - not like there's too much at all.
Once I have an appropriate set of dining chairs I might do this 🙂
Actually scratch that, once I have an appropriate set of dining chairs AND a cool lounge chair I'll do a tour.
