Pic?
Can you post a picture? The rarest ones that I know of are Hot Pink and Lavender.

Also terra cotta and light blue...
Ochre dark is a sight rarely seen as well.
Would be interested in seeing a photo myself.

Ochre Light
Is a fairly common color. Yes, holes in the shell (original or not) will significantly reduce the value.

no offense but are you new...
no offense but are you new to the internet??? does that resemble your chair???
i pulled that picture off the internet teasing you about the "screw holes"....teasing you because that question you asked is almost as bad as "if my piccaso has sustained fire damage will that affect the overall value?"...
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
LOL if it looks like it is in crap shape it might be in crap shape in which case the price as with most things will reflect the condition -that being crap
might still be worth something but collectors tend to not want things with new or altered holes. much like they like their WOMEN - original holes all still there and intact...no one wants a beat up old catchers mitt they want the mint condition one! 😀
That being said im sure someone will buy it if you ever decide to sell it! try ebay!
:DDDD hope this helped!

no offense taken
i am new to collecting
i found the chair so i thought i would find out the closest i could to the value
your comments were aggressive
but sort of humourous
that is not my chair in the picture i was teasing you
my chair has two screws from where the shockmounts were repaired apparently
i put it online and someone is coming to buy it
but thanks for responding in a sort of apologetic way

which makes me wonder
how do you tell a Eames/Herman Miller shell chair? Is there something as obvious as a mark? I HAVE NO IDEA but I do see many fiberglass Shell chairs and have never really given them a 2nd thought.

^^^^^ This was a Win for...
^^^^^ This was a Win for mankind
Im guessing you are being sarcastic (:
as for my comments I was not trying to be harsh just witty apparently I should have stopped over thinking my response. :/ all in all i think even with those holes you probably have a cool chair and someone's going to be very happy to have it 🙂
