Dear DA-ers,
I have a technical question:
I found a rosewood unit/desk-return, probably designed by Franco Albini, made (certain, cause it has a tag) by MiM.
If I want to transport it, I need to disassemble.
It has a nice feature to it: it contains a tiny barely used refrigerator.
Does anybody of you have any idea if I could take it apart (without harming it), keeping the built-in fridge in mind.
I think it has four screws on the sides (hidden away by plastic buttons), but had no time to check this.

Hi Erik,
I found the thing in an abandonned office building.
I went there to take pictures for my work. When I saw the doors were pushed open, I took a look inside.
There was nothing left of the interior, except this unit, hidden under a big pile of plaster (coming of the ceiling) and dust.
I've seen it described as designed by Albini, but you are possibly right when questioning this.
I've seen some pieces attributed to Parisi, wich look very similar (ofcourse, MiM would have made or designed units of their own to..): a very low-profile container, corners (vertical) are finished with chrome strips, no legs but simple little wheels (chrome finish), the handles of the sliding doors are in tune with the chrome corners: they are a profile running the vertical side of the door.
Looks a lot like the unit pictured in the link.
Problem is, there is no owner left. If I want to salvage this I need to do this with as little fuz as possible.
Moving a firm office unit through the door of an abandoned building in a busy street..it doesnt apeal to me 🙂
