Hey all, Anyone have some good suggestions for a smallish bedroom vanity that would fit midcentury modern decor?  My bathroom is small and doesn't have good storage for my makeup so I have makeup bags sitting on the floor by the sink.  The lighting also sucks in the bathroom.   And no, I don't want to make changes to the bathroom.  I rent and am looking to buy a home sometime in the next year so I don't want to put any money into my rental.  Anyhoo, I would love to have a vanity in my bedroom where I could store my makeup.  I really prefer the vanities that have the mirror hidden (flip-top style vanity with mirror on the part that flips up).  I would also need a place for a chair so it would need to be somewhat open underneath...my legs need to go somewhere while I am sitting LOL.I have found one vanity that I am considering.  As far as I know, it is not a high end designer but it looks well made.  But I would like to look at other options before I buy.  Anyone know of other midcentury modern vanities that might fit the bill.  I would prefer to keep the vanity under 32"W and 20"D.

There is a very nice Aksel Kjersgaard vanity.

It is a nice vanity, but I really want one with a hidden mirror.  Thanks for the input though!

I had a Vinde Mobelfabrik vanity that would be almost exactly as you described above. There is nothing flashy about the design, but it was a nice non-descript piece that did not take up too much space. I see these pop up every now and then. I had acquired mine with a Moller stool, and I have seen a few others paired that way. I guess there must have been a Danish furniture store that was selling them as a set back in the day.

There is a Tørring Møbelfabrik vanity with a fold out mirror like that. As a generic it ought to be cheaper.
