This is Major Tom for flight control. I settle into my seat and drift off in a most unusual way. The stars look very different today! Space Oddity is the perfect chair for a leisurely afternoon drift. With cushions upholstered in a different pattern, it has two modes. The abstract mode and the wave and fall mode. The cubic form of the armchair with upholstered seat suspended at an angle allows for an extremely comfortable exploration of the constellations. The armchair is a Polish project, known as Bolek, designed in the 80’s. The armchair has undergone comprehensive carpentry and upholstery restoration.Wooden frame was cleaned, painted with special paint for wood and protected by varnish in semi-matte. The seat was reinforced with new upholstery straps. Upholstered construction of the armchair with sewn-in new double-sided cushions with new fillings and with sewn-in locks. The upholstery fabric used is dense weave in black and patterned fabric with printed design.
