Now sporting a remnant "Rise" white vinyl by Konstantin Grcic for Maharam textiles, stripped the brown paint and restored the maple bent plywood parts in honey maple color.

Thanks @reamie, I see you have been rubbing elbows with a (former) royalty lately. Sigvard Bernadotte is a prolific industrial designer, he even designed something that do not take a lot of space that made people look and feel good.
@ponyboy, it looks like a figured mahogany veneer but I can't tell for sure, I don't have a (prescription) Skaga yet, beautiful piece and reminds me of an early bedside table I have from Illums Bolighus.
I guess I can't edit the post anymore, I meant flame mahogany (not figured), @mark737, looks like the stacking Thonet attributed online to Joe Atkinson.

I had a pair of these about 7 years ago that I reupholstered. The webbing was in excellent shape. I never knew what they were. Sadly, we sold them as we were getting to much furniture in the house. My wife loved them and wishes we never parted with them.

The Moreddi Imports I encountered in the past are always branded in areas not always visible & sometimes they are almost invisible as the wood darkens overtime. This chair is like that, the faint mark is behind the front rail under the seat that the seller missed it and just selling this chair inexpensively as a generic Danish modern/mid century chair.
