Now, perhaps it's time to list some ply favorites that get lost in the shuffle.

Two of my favorite:

1. Armchair for the Royal Festival Hall in 1951 by Robin Day.

2. Ib Kofod-Larsen - designed around 1950.

earlier version
Here is an earlier version of the Robin Day chair, which to my eye is more elegant. This version is much much rarer. Does anyone know why the change was made?

I know its a bit cliche' but I've always thought some of the Eames prototypes are just gorgeous. Its a shame you can only see them in museum exhibits but I suppose if we give Vitra enought time...
Im trying to find a good photo of a very low 3-part lounge that was at the 670 exhibit...

Cliched..yes, very much so...but one that no matter what, always rises above it. A post like this, it's inevitable the Eames's would pop up.

I've only sat in a repro Summers chair and no it wasn't particularly comfortable. Here's a nice Summers table...
