Whats the colour and is it a first or 2nd edition? For organic style furniture, bright colours will always command a premium.

Its a bright orange but not sure of the edition, he also had 2 bright lemon ones available, so what do you think, should i go for it ? I saw one on ebay last night that went for £209 but it was dark green and had a lot of bobbling.

I can't remember off the top of my head how to determine which edition (long time since I've bought one) - something to do with how the legs taper inwards or outwards. Being in a decent condition and a nice colour I would say £650 is ok for either an early or later chair, wouldn't hurt to try and get it a little cheaper though as it is at the higher end of it's value.

Cheers Nick, the guy is bringing the chair to my house tonight. He tells me he got them from a guy in France who purchased them in the 70's but he does not know if they are 1st or 2nd edition. I might try my luck and see if i can knock some off and let you know how i get on.
