Obviously would be very difficult to live without my iMac.

On A Theme
I dare say I could survive without much at all, but continuing on the tea theme, I would very much not to be without my Siemens Porsche kettle.
I hear they are to be discontinued, due to the large royalties they have to pay on the design, I hope this isn't true!
They're already discontinued the coffee machine, to be replaced by am much uglier model.

It was more specific..like the other thread..i.e a piece of design..
Obviously if we are talking larger, more important issues, then I'd like to nominate my hands..

Wow!
People still buy turntables? I thought they'd entered the realm of anachronisms unless you were a hiup hop DJ. Nice to know they're still being used

New Acoustic Dimension
Pretty high-end stereo gear in the '80's. So SDR, what would be the first album you'd spin?, if of course Santa brought you a new turntable for xmas?

NAD
I've been using NAD audio equipment for 20 years, and it is indeed excellent.
As for the album, it would have to be Steve Reich's Music for 18 Musicians.

I am getting a turntable for...
I am getting a turntable for Christmas. I'll play either XTC's alter-ego 60's psychadelia counterpart, the Dukes of Stratosphere's "25 O'Clock" or the Velvet Underground's "Velvet Underground."
