I have a feeling this one will never be resolved and end up being labeled with the dreadful term 'generic' however I really like this sideboard, it is slightly Vodderesque in it's styling and has very pleasing dimensions.
I am actually going to sell my Vodder sideboard and replace it with this as I have always felt keeping my underwear in a Arne Vodder piece was a bit ostentatious.
What I know:
It was purchased from John Lewis ( a reasonably good department store favoured by the Middle classes) in 1969 from a Danish furniture display.
It is nicely constructed.
It is not marked in any way, although I haven't pulled all the drawers out yet.

After a further poke round I can't see any markings.
The construction is ok, not the best but by no means the worst.
Underneath the frame appears to be made of pine with any visible faces veneered in teak. The legs are solid teak.
The interior is lined with teak veneer, nothing remarkable inside.
It is a nice design, I like it.
At a punt i would think too upmarket to have come from john lewis, more likely hopewells or scandinavian room.
The cabinet is a version made by sejling skabe and as far as i know they had e w bach working for them.
They labelles their items with a large square paper label in yellow so have a look on the back for remnants or an outline where it was.
Thanks for those pics of the catalogue Lexi! I had the combination of unit 5 and 9 as pictured in the catalogue. They were stamped "Made in Denmark" and "Svend Aage Rasmussen" as pictured below. If you search his name a link to an old ebay listing comes up for the combination of unit 5 and 8, and 8 clearly has the same handles as your sideboard.
