mystery table - ID help  

bought in 1984
at the milano salone di mobili.
there are different versions of colors and there are made only 10 pieces worldwide.
maybe someone has a catalogue about the 1984 milano furniture exhibition.

.., yes, it defintly doesnt look like memphis design, but the year of 1984 is this period. and i have to started somewhere. i have seen two identical tables, other colors, within 2month. both in households from famous artists. so i thought that could be something interesting. and i like the style of the table. the chairs are hard to accept, a pain in the eye, i know...but the table is fantastic!!

I was researching something totaly different when I stumbled upon this a Nanda Vigo marble sculpture that looked a LOT like your table.
If you go on Google and type in Nanda Vigo Marbe table , there will be a couple results in the Images section. I hope this helps. Please let us know if you find out anything. It is rare and strange designs that are sometimes the most interesting. I would have never thought That NV would design something like that, but here it is...Good luck!

What is it made of (top and base)?

its a towel...
...dipped in polyurethane/epoxy resin or something like that.
it exist only 10 pieces and everyone in other color and patern.
