@wesemael That could be rewarding. I also looked into the Bovenkamp family and tried to contact somebode but without luck. I was hoping to get some material from their archive.

@Herringbone It’s been a real treat watching all of this unfold! We ended up keeping the chair after following all the info  that was being discovered. Is it two iconic chairs (Oda/Clam) now that have been traced back to them? Great work/research by everyone involved!

@ponyboy Yes, you`re right. And it's a good decision to keep it. A chair, that rewrote furniture history (in a way). 🙂

@lexi, @wesemael Now that I look at wesemaels latest ad again, I come to think: Could it be that this model 12 sofa is the same model that @freebird posted a couple of moths ago in this thread? It lacks the wooden paws but otherwise it’s pretty similar. What do you think?

@lexi @herringbone its not the freebird one i saw a add with freebird one if  remember  well but is wat  not named dansk design mobel neither were madsen and schubell named and it is later I will try to finn the add again I did not downloaded

@herringbone. Have been following all the recent revelations on IG, with regard to Madsen and Schubell. Exciting stuff.!

With that in mind,  I am re-posting an image of an M& S advert that I posted on page 2 of this thread. 

@leif-ericson  might appreciate it given his interest in  Arnold Madsen's taste in upholstery. 😏  Advert from 1954.

I found the image on loppefund wordpress.com. They do not say where the advert is from unfortunately.  The site is basically a Blog and I can't find an e-mail address.

@wesemael Did you find these on the internet or did you go into a real newspaper archive?

@herringbone  the brown ones i found on internet  marktplaats (dutch ebay) and contacted the seller .the conversation made me quite doubtfull and his prove of marking also.  I seen sofa off this chair with better markings  Its not in the"catalogue" and i did never find a add  .  no luck sofar with the family i foud some one ho had the family tree  but he was another brach and had no adresses
