"made in japan" mid century lounge chair

After searching the web, I can find no info at all about mid-century lounge chairs made in Japan. Can anyone here shed any light on this nice chair? It came straight out of an elderly lady's apartment, complete with original cushions with foam disintegrated into yellow powder, so it's certain it is vintage. These green cushions are new, of course.

Yep there is Asian Modern, and East Block Modern as well....all those Romanian and Yugoslavian made Lounge chairs as well.

Japan chair
I recently found a M-C lounge chair similar to yours; it is stamped on the bottom "Pacific Trends/Made in Japan". I have to refinish and get new cushions. I have not been able to find anything on Pacific Trends.
