if i were you i would not consider that nylon fabric... It Pulls real bad .... If you have a cat,dog belt buckel, shoes it will snag, I would consider a nice fabric in red from Maharam like messenger, medium,milestone they work and will not leave bad pulls.

If you can find a good upholsterer I'd use Kvadrat Divina 2, it looks like felt but stretches well, and will be far more robust, its what Paulins tongue chairs are done in and there is a good carmine red.
