I suspect the waiting list for transplant may be quite lengthy. Have you considered amputation?

I'm pretty determined, and have so far waited about 1.5 years. The lamp was one of my first sidewalk finds after renovating a place, and it turned out to be possibly my favorite find (bought and/or found) so far. Finally got one off of ebay last week. One left to go! Another 1.5 years is nothing, haha.

Can we see a pic of the whole lamp?

Well it would certainly help knowing how the shade was broken.

Was it during a dinner party?

What was being served?

Who broke the glass?

Did any broken glass get onto anyones plate?

What were you wearing at the time of breakage?

Did you say the words "oh fuck".?

Was it a family dinner?

Did you save the broken pieces?

What is your sign?

How was the mood after the nasty situation?

Was your Grandmother there at the time?

Would you have a picture of the rest of the chandelier (sans globe)?

I have additional questions.

my best,

Aunt Mark

Hi, Yep, will post a photo of the lamp in a week or two, when I'm back over at that apartment. It's one of those semi over-sided teak (I think) floral table lamps with brass components holding it together. No makers mark. Seen the same shade on a handful of similar lamps. Also, yep, grandma was present when it broke. She thought it was a real pity. Darn near ruined xmas.
