I did find a 1938 Disney Rubber Ferdinand the Bull today for $1. I love that book, still. Will sit on my desk henceforth
No word yet from Mobler on the Rocker. I'll give them a solid week. The Brown and Saltman Convertible sofa is ALSO proving to be a challenge. I found one sorta similar but nothing identical. I still have this weird feeling that it might be a one off.

A "Danish Chair" from craigslist
Which turned out to be a Hans Wegner CH52. It was listed as "Danish chair with pretty blue fabric seat and back." And by pretty, they mean ratty. But at $100 can't really complain.
Beech frame, with some of the joints loose. Definitely needs some loving. Will post a separate thread about advice to refinish.
There is no label, but there is a stamped serial number: FH66. Does this mean anything to anyone?

Thats what I find confusing. To my knowledge the chair was designed for, and made by, Carl Hansen & Son. (whose website gets less helpful by the day)
The Danish Furniture Index shows CH as the maker, but they don't show whether there were any other past makers.

Hans Brattrud Scandia chairs
Bought these Hans Brattrud Scandia charis last week from a nice lady in Los Altos CA. She had 10 of them with the matching table and wanted to keep only 8. She let them go for very little, not sure whether to keep them or sell them on. I've never seen them with only the seat cushion, they usually have none or both back and seat cushions. Very comfortable and I'm using it as a desk chair currently. I know they are not to everyone's taste but they are growing on me!
