A George Kovacs floor lamp with adjustable height (has old UL Listed sticker on the base that also says "Kovacs" on it, which is the only identifying label). $7 at a thrift store. Looks to be quite a few years old, but I have not been able to find another example like it.

The Richard Sapper, Kyron metamorfosi suspension lamp for Artemide will not fully function (13 factory settings plus additional individual programming) without the remote.

Thanks niceguy - are the remotes interchangeable? There is one for sale but its for the Nur metamorfosi 3. Maybe I should just order one as a spare part from Artemide.
Another question about the bulbs - there are frosted bulbs under the filters and a clear bulb with no filter - is the correct configuration?

No, the remote for the NUR metamorfosi will not work with this unit. You will require a 4 light unit as pictured below.
Since all the metamorfosi products have been discontinued it may be difficult to get this replacement from Artemide.
You have the bulb configuration correct, but there is a clear filter over the clear bulb.
