Painting
Found this today. Does anyone recognize the artist? I kind of like it, is my taste only in my mouth?

Khus - Somewhere in between...
Khus - Somewhere in between I guess. I'd been looking for a Nelson desk clock for a pretty long while for my nightstand, but didn't want to pay the silly money they seem to command. I found this one for $110. It was a bit of a risk because it was not standing up straight on its stand, and I also didn't know if it even kept time properly. Turned out to be an easy fix to tighten the stand, and luckily it keeps good time, so I think it was a pretty good deal.

$110 is not bad at all.
Nice find!

I like that painting, but then I like weird, dark, strangely evocative pictures.
On a different note, I just got this Nelson X leg table.

Nike, it looks like your St Moritz painting was a gouache original done for a poster or pamphlet? You have any luck finding an example of a poster printed from your painting?

I did't find the poster/ad. the backside of the cardboard came from america. I had also no luck with the signature "REM". But it seems to be an original painting from the 30s. let's see how it will turn out when it's properly framed.

Three Richard Hutten Dombo purple mugs on sale at a museum shop. One for the permanent collection and two for childrens gifts. Fun, but nothing special.
