Fine art
Mentioned this in another thread.
Alan Munro is the artist, the OTHER Alan Munro. He was a fine art professor @ Oregon State for about 30 years. He mostly seems to have been an academic, rather than commercial artist. Very few of his pieces seem to have sold.
I have been meaning to paint the living room (never liked the mud brown from the previous owner). This picture is forcing my hand.

Craziest treasure hunting day ever!
First we went to a yard sale and got a danish teak sideboard, a danish style lounge recliner, a small Rya rug, A set of Vera Neumann dishes, a set of Heller dishes, and a set of Russell Wright dishes, There was some other fun odds and ends there too. Then We hit a couple thrifts got some tiki art and then met with a guy who was purging some things from his house. We got a Laurel mushroom floor lamp, 4 Eames DCM chairs, A Lawrence Peabody chair, A huge Rya rug, four amazing pieces of Mccobb planner group, A Kofod Larsen chair for Selig, and a Bruno Mathsson strap chair.

American Teak dresser.......
Picked up this teak dresser yesterday probably early sixties. It had many layers of oil and grime, but it cleaned up nicely. I wonder why teak furniture was rarely made in the USA.

Mario, they were asking...
Mario, they were asking $1500 bucks for that 'Nelson' dresser. Didnt seem worth the drive as they claimed its been refinished a couple of times, still looks decent. Did you grab the headboard too?

sweet dresser
sure did clean up well.
I didn't buy one last week that I am still regretting (not the same, by any means).
Did, however, pick up a couple of my personal passions today, a couple of ANCIENT Ledu swing arm desk lamps. Grimy but oh so lovely. Check out that label "Ledu Wazo". Never seen that before.

Nelson table finally assembled.
Still don't know what I'm gonna do with it. Maybe just keep it in the basement for folding laundry. 🙂

Pictures of some of the haul!
Here's some pics I snapped with my phone.
You can see one of the pieces of Mccobb in the back of the pic of the rug. I have the drawers... There is a low wide one, one with sliding doors, and a vanity as well.

Selig Z Chair- magic dumpster!
Found a Selig Z chair, nice black cushions, and that super little round tag on a sidewalk last night. Got to love living in a college town!
