Found this thermos at thrift way back then stashed away and then found again while organizing the garage. It's silver plated. No makers mark or label.
Did find a thermos very similar in part only(neck)but different body design. the one they have was designed by Renzo Cassetti.

Vintage lamp from USSR
Bought this vintage pendant lamp for $10. It is made of diffusing glass and painted aluminum. Diameter of the aluminum dish is 40cm.
The lamp is made in USSR in 50s.

Rustam...
Forgive me if this is a silly question..
is the red visor part of that pendant lamp on upside down? I feel like I've seen that lamp before but with the visor the other way round...

Yes, you are right. I installed the aluminum dish upside down. I feel the lamp looks more interesting than before, showed in the pictures below. What do you think?

From a roadside flea market, ...
From a roadside flea market, a turned bowl similar to a Finn Juhl design, but by Hawaiian wood turner Stewart Chow, dated 1999. The edge of this bowl is intentionally irregular, following the grain of the wood.

Vintage lamp
Another one beauty in my collection, bought this vintage lamp today for just $15!
I very like its design, especially when the lamp is turned on. It gives very pure and soft orange light from the sides and diffused white light from the top and the bottom.
The lamp consists of hard plastic rings (orange and white) and a metal frame. Diameter of the lamp is 25cm, height is 22cm.
I think this lamp was designed in 70s-80s.

FREE.
picked up a couple projects over the past week or so from unrelated owners. both need work...the dining chairs are pretty fucked (in the rafters of a garage for a few decades), but the wood is structurally sound. the lounge chair is solid, but upholstery is worn on the arm fronts.
arne vodder. dux.
