Question:
Hey guys, I'm serious about this. We're all design snobs. I'm the first to criticize someone's work. BUT I have over 40 Eames school desks in storage that i've had for a while now. Of course I removed the shell from the scholastic base and sold shell-only to random buyers. What am I do to with the bases???? I've tried to sell them...nothing. I was thinking of making some type of end table or magazine rack from each base. Is that so terrible? I see above that someone in Boston's Craigslist made a table from some sort of Eames legs. I actually thought that was slightly clever.
Bottomline: I just don't want some of my stuff ending up on a WTF thread:)
What are yall thoughts?
