there are two big rips in my ladderax chair.
One across the middle of the seat back to front and the other tear in the back of the seat where it rubs against the metal framework of the chair. This runs across the seat.
The middle tear is 11" long. There is 2" of leather between this tear and the other tear. There is 4" of leather at the front of the tear plus 2" that wraps under the chair to where the rope ties it on.
The other tear is 8" long. There is 1" of leather to one side of it plus the leather that wraps under the chair and 2" the other side again plus the leather that wraps underneath.
how do you think this should be fixed? glue or sewing... or get a saddler to cut some new leather? it comes off easily... and ties back on.
much appreciated!
