I'm looking for a modular, colourful shelving system. This one looks pretty good: http://www.movisi.com/konfigurator/play
or maybe this one:

And the boogie woogie from Magis:

Ayone ever tried any of these? Any similar system I should consider?
Thanks

one more
hi loki,
i'll add one more, in a similar style to the shelving combinations above. It's called the Hive, by dk company Gubi. I would have liked a picture of a Hive combination without the horrible feet as on this pic (i ve seen a picture before of a Hive combination without feet, fully wall mounted and gorgeous) but perhaps it is better to post a direct link to Gubis site.
i must say, i love your first two shelving options very much. they look original, appealing and functional. however, i am not so sure about the third one from magis. i can not quite put my finger on it, but something about it does not quite look 'right'. i think it is something about the integration of the curvy and straight lines that does not quite work.
if you feel like browsing, you can always have a look at twentytwentyone.com, they usually have a nice selection of furniture. clik on the bottom line of icons ('storage') to get to the right section, then navigate by keeping your cursor over the forward symbol/ clicking it will make you move faster.
good luck on your quest,

aha erlebnis
... couldn t quite work out why the round shelving units looked new, yet familiar. it just struck me: it reminds me of Joe Colombos Tube (or Tubo) chair for Flexform.
Although definitely eye catching, it is not very economical with regard to the amount of storage space, so probably most interesting if you already have enough storage space elsewhere and this is not your main storage haven/ or if you have lots of stuff. if you would go with this option you probably would want to fix units to the wall too to increase stability.

I have a PLAY shelf from movisi.
It looks great (definetely an eye catcher). You can change the look of it whenever you feel like.

BluDot
I have the Chicago 8-Box system which I've expanded to a 13-Box. It may not be 'colorful' but it's immensly practical and modular. They have other systems that are also modular and quite colorful too. Thier prices are also quite reasonable. A point to not is that one of the founders of BluDot is the architect Charlie Lazor who is a key player in the trend of PreFab housing.
