A Giganatasaurus dropping bench...
Life-sized naugahyde simulation of Giga dropping mounted on teak and fiberglass for visitor rest breaks at the Jurassic Modern Museum at Isla Thorna somewhere off the west coast of Mexico.
"Shit finds a way, Mr. Hammond," said Ian Malcom, as the Ford Explorer pulled past the raptor cages.
(Soaring, schlocky, John Willams' "Theme for Giganatasaurus" pores forth from the aging THX Sound System, because the audience is listening and defecating.)
Percival Lafer
I agree that it looks Brazilian. Maybe Percival Lafer? Jonnie, I see you took the picture away....I suspect because of the comments of some of the folks above. Don't be intimidated by a few mean spirited posts. Those folks are not the arbiters of fine design. Each of us is entitled to our own taste when it comes to design. I think that there was something very intriguing about the couch you posted.
I agree, fascinating...
I agree, fascinating design..I would also say south america, maybe brazil. It just needs a bit of tlc: as I recall the wood
looked a bit dry, the leather also could use a product, an oil or something.
Do you have similar pieces? I would like to see that in a setting.
