Hi guys,
I've recently purchased a pair of 2 armchairs in a charity shop in France.
The seat / back & armrest are made of black leather, in pretty bad condition. The frame is in steel with traces of rust on the back, nothing to worry about though.
What I've loved is the suspended seat which I find very elegant, and the overall quality if these armchairs despite the bad condition of the upholstery leather. The square shape of the sides is pretty interesting too.
I'm not a huge "connaisseur", so maybe you guys could help me identify their origin, designer... I'm interested in anything you can tell me about them.
Cheers
J.

I did a quick Google image search and came accross an Eero Aarnio model made by Mobel Italia (circa 1968).
The first 4 attached images show details of label ,backrest attachment etc.
I also found images of your chair (images 5 and 6). You will notice the differences especially the backrest and seat attachments and the label.
Your chair maybe a different model , year of production or manufacturer or possibly your chair is " in the style of " category.
Good luck with the search.

lexi
