I just bought a Heritage henredon side board.$25.00 I belive it is teak any ideas on how to tell for sure also would you use a little danish oil to bring it back or somthing else. There is also a table and 6 chairs for 120.00 I havent bought it yet, it will need to be refinished I dont think it is teak. What do you think ?

it could be teak.
you never really know until you see it.

It would be nice to
see some 'good design' Henredon. I always thought it was quality old ladies furniture. (My mother - who's 86 - has a living room full of it. Very nicely made, but a bit fuddy-duddy...and traditional.)

charming piece of furniture.
personally i feel the 'rims' are a bit to much for me,
they overcomplicate the design.
but charming nevertheless.
from your photo i wouldn't guess it's teak.
