I used to have one but I sold it---just didn't need another chair of that type. It's a nice one. The cushions on that one need welt for a more finished look but otherwise it's nice.
eta: I would look for one in teak or at least oiled walnut. The one I had was walnut with a glossy varnish finish, which I didn't care for so much.

I have a very similar Selig chair. It's beautiful, and I like it well enough, but I prefer a chair with more support than the straps under the cushion provide. When I sit on the chair and put my feet up on the matching ottoman, I feel pressure from the wooden seat frame--the part directly under my legs. I think this is caused by the give of the straps juxtaposed with the unyielding firmness of the frame. After an hour of so of reading, this pressure becomes a little uncomfortable.
I'm 6'.1", weigh about 210, btw. Were I lighter, I bet I wouldn't have this problem.
I'm probably going to end up selling mine to make way for a womb chair in the future.

Womb chair is the most comfortable chair ever!
I have had all the top chairs, have the eames lounge chair and the LCW's but for my money, the Womb is hands down tops for comfort.Easy to nap in,and you won't wake up with a sore neck.(I also love the fact I can perch a laptop on one of the arms, too!)

From the look of their site,...
From the look of their site, they sell only knock-off furniture. So, that chair is a copy of a Selig "Z" chair designed by Poul Jensen and made in Denmark, probably by Christiansen&Larsen. I would not spend $1000 for a copy when you can get a real one for less than that. The same is true of their "Eisenhower" chair, which is another copy of a Selig imported Danish chair.

I just noticed that the chair...
I just noticed that the chair image that the website is using, from the OP, is from a genuine Selig Z chair pair that was sold on Ebay recently.
Edit: The photo for their "Eisenhower Sofa" is taken from a Kofod Larsen Selig sofa currently on Ebay.

Looks like you guys fell victim to a very subtle spam advertisement for Thrive. I'm located in another city but Thrive is located in Los Angeles.

wow
You're right, spacepirate! And now I'm even more amazed at the crummy upholstery in the one above. I thought it was some cheap job that someone on 1st Dibs did just to sell the chair (with the idea that the new owner would get it done correctly).
But hey, it gets worse---
