I have been fortunate to recently acquire 4 oak Hans Wegner PP203 chairs produced by Johannes Hansen.
From checking on the internet it appears that most of these chairs were manufactured by PP Mobler and that Johnanes Hansen and others produced earlier versions.
I would like to establish the period that Hansen produced these chairs and whether anyone knows if there were any distinctive differences between chairs produced by the different manufacturers. Have read somewhere that PP Mobler have rosewood inserts in the back rest whereas I believe the Hansen chairs I have include some other hardwood...... picture included below but my belief is that this is an african hardwood known as Wenge.
Would be grateful for any asistance

Leif,
the chairs have had all labels removed apart from a small section of one....see photo just added. Fortunately this small part label is just sufficient to identify it as being supplied by Johannes Hansen. Presume these are the earlier production than those by PP Mobler and more sought after???
Do you know if there were any identifieable diffferences between models produced by Hansen from those made by PP Mobler?
Any further insights gratefully appreciated
