I got some old Vitra Eames DSWs, and I absolutely adore them. They are in lovely condition for their age, and I see no significant edge or surface scuffing that I've seen in a lot of similarly priced vintage chairs.

The only thing that slightly worries me is that at the top quarter of their back, there are a few small hairline surface cracks on the edge. They don't go through the material, and are 3-4 mm long, on the backside of the rounded edge - I'm guessing they are probably from UV wear.

So what I'd like an opinion on is whether this is something that needs to be kept an eye on, maybe eventually worth taking for restoration, or is it safe to just embrace it as patina and use the chairs without worry.
