let me pile on the rug fan club. Any idea from whence it came? I couldn't guess and I consider myself a rug guy
as for the question at hand? After MUCH consideration I am going with the ML example. I am a huge sucker for rosewood but the ML table just has it. And this comes from a lefty (handed and politically). I'd suffer the long reach
EDIT - after 30 seconds of furious research I think your rug might be Moroccan? But I did see another fairly similar that was attributed as "Scandinavian". I'm going Moroccan.
I don't really see why you would want to keep the brazilian one if you on the other hand can have the Willy Beck table. Really. And I think it was you, sir, who just a few weeks ago wrote about this very table as a once-in-a-lifetime oportunity. But this is what everybody utters so I might as well come up with a new idea. Why not part with both of them? It seems as if you can very well imagine to sell either one, so go ahead. You don't need these tables obviously since you don't play. Throw em out and make room for new acquisitions which may suit the room even more. Ever thought of that?

waffle, you're right--Moroccan rug, unless I'm wrong, of course. Specifically, of the Beni Ourain tribes. They've been very popular for a few years now but mostly you see the white ones with dark lines in a diamond pattern. I like the colorful ones. (Easier to find kilims in these colors! Just watch out that you don't buy one described as vintage wool that is really a new synthetic blend that has been aged with bleach and other stuff that weakens the fibers.)
