Eames EA 108 Office Chair by ICF – genuine or fake leather?

I'm considering buying an EA 108 office chair produced by ICF. It was produced around 2003 and looks like it is made out of leather. I did not have the chance to get my hands on it yet, and as it will take quite a long drive to do so, I thought it might be wise to ask you first: Does anyone know whether the ICF-produced black EA 108 chairs from around 2003 were produced using genuine leather or whether they're made of fake leather? I attach some pictures of the chair, just in case this is helpful.
