Apparently
Leaving negative feedback leaves quite an impression as I received a response from another ebayer who said the chairs I bought where from his dads collection who worked for Herman Miller and he sold them to Industrialarts, and the I obviously did not know what I was talking about.
It seems this stretches farther then one would imagine if he is having others try to put doubt in my mind, when the facts are pretty straight forward.
Strange, since 41 of the 65 feedbacks this buyer has is from Industrialarts and he is also from CA.
I am sure that is just a coincidence though. 😉
All this ugliness could have been avoided, but he tried to cancel the auction he had not even refunded me for yet , ( A chair I did not even get in the mail ) so that I could not leave feedback, and stopped communicating with me when I suggested I get the refund first. It seems this is what he is worried about above all else and will do whatever he can to keep his reputation clean. Ebay was very nice about this and opened a case on my behalf, and he is going to have to refund me for the last purchase at least in full.
However I am not getting refunded for 3 of the 4 chairs as I am 10 days over the time limit to follow up with ebay. This was an expensive lesson indeed.
But hopefully others will learn from my mistake.
I really hate lying, especially when it ruins a wonderful hobby/study like this.

Props to Joshua for leaving...
Props to Joshua for leaving negative feedback.
If you look at his newest feedback youll see the user 'bluesurfg' immediately left positive feedback after your negative. If you look at bluesurfg's feedback history nearly all of it is with industrialarts.
Its basically a dummy account that he uses to buy bogus 99cent items that he lists and quickly buys so he can pad his postive feedback score. It also explains why his feedback profile is private now so you cannot see the bogus items.

That really is quite sad.
I hope someday he realizes how much damage he is doing to the Eames legacy for some people by bastardizing perfectly good pieces to be great ones...
Though the DCM back on an LCM is kind of funny now that I had time to let go of the anger.
Like really?
It is not even about the money I spent though,( that hurts too because I am far from cash safe...I spent my work bonus on these chairs out of sincere faith after a very tough year personally.) I feel bad for the chairs. They deserve better than that. ;-/
I hope I can learn more from you all, and eventually look back on this as my trial by fire. 😉
Thanks.

Oh one more thing
You know what he likes to use to put on an incorrect label?
Double stick tape... I kid you not.
If you are going to fake 4 figure chairs...wouldn't you at least use glue so it would dry and not come apart when it got humid out?
My gf even laughed out loud when she saw that.
So I took photos of it, and then cleaned it off. At least the chair is not pretending to be something it isn't so much anymore.

Hi Joshua,
Did you pay...
Hi Joshua,
Did you pay for these with a credit card? If so, you may be able to open a complaint with Visa/MC and try to get your money back that way!

.
That bluesurfg is obviously a fluffer account for industrial arts, its also been used to leave feedback for modernesia. I guess its an account he uses purely to bid on his own stuff when he wants to keep the price up. Til now I've always believed the hype that Ebay are very quick to spot this kind of thing with investigators, purpose designed programs and algorithms 'n' shit like that - obviously not! Fact has anyone ever shown this thread to anyone at Ebay?
Those frankenlamps are a joke btw, they nearly all share the same bases, shades, switches etc - at best he uses a couple of original elements and the rest is new

bluesurfg has 'bought' very widely from industrialarts indeed - Eames chair, a lot of lamps, some more very different lamps, a poster, a photo and.....a surfboard.

Not over yet...
You have up to 45 days to file with Paypal. Go right ahead and stick it to this a-hole.

The other two I am working on.
Thanks everyone for the support, suggestions. Much appreciated.

meanwhile
I posted for sale a Goodform office chair that is a TWIN of a Knoll Pollock chair and I said in the description "very like knoll". And ebay flagged me for trying to pump up my listing by using an unassociated term "KNOLL". So they really showed me what for! Thanks ebay! I'm a bad bad man.

Just so everyone is aware.
I was on the phone with Ebay again, and found out an interesting key detail everyone should be aware of.
45 days is covered from time of purchase. Not from time the buyer receives the item.
So if you buy an item on March 15th like I did and did not get it in the mail until April 5th. They don't allow recourse, as the counter starts at March 15th.
So be sure your seller gets the item to you promptly.
A little unfair, but good to know.

45 days, karma, "damage to the Eames legacy", negative feedback, and other silliness
California gives you three years for a civil action and four years for criminal prosecution.
California Code of Civil Procedure:
335. The periods prescribed for the commencement of actions other than for the recovery of real property, are as follows:
....
338. Within three years:
....
(d) An action for relief on the ground of fraud or mistake. The cause of action in that case is not deemed to have accrued until the discovery, by the aggrieved party, of the facts constituting the fraud or mistake.
California Penal Code:
801.5. Notwithstanding Section 801 or any other provision of law, prosecution for any offense described in subdivision (c) of Section 803 shall be commenced within four years after discovery of the commission of the offense, or within four years after the completion of the offense, whichever is later.
803(c) A limitation of time prescribed in this chapter does not commence to run until the discovery of an offense described in this subdivision. This subdivision applies to an offense punishable by imprisonment in the state prison or imprisonment pursuant to subdivision (h) of Section 1170, a material element of which is fraud ....
