I freaking hate dishracks and most of the time using them I feel like I'm about to burst into tears or start smashing plates in frustrsation. Most of the time I just put a tea towell on the bench + leave all the glasses on that and use the rack just for plates.
Stupid question but why can't we all just have one plate size, one bowl size and 2 cup sizes or whatever and one dishrack designed to accomodate them? Makes me yearn for a communist utopia.
What Glasses?
In Oz don't you just drink straight from the bottle and hang the corks on the brim of you hat?
And what to do with something like a dish rack when it is not being used? Currently mine is really pissing me off as I bought somethin too small that I thought would store easily out of sight. I did see one that hung over the sink and folded flat against the backsplash. My kitchen is open plan, without a wall behind the sink.
But none of this solves the problem of an assortment of different sized dishes. I empathize.
The dish doctor
Does anyone here have a Magis dish doctor that they actually use on a daily basis? It looks nice in person, but stick out like a sore thumb. We went on an endless search for a nice dishrack and ended up with a cheapie white one from Target, best of all it doesn't stick out.

I used to have boxes of the things in my garage, they're shite, can't stack anything in 'em.
A combination dish, glasses, pot rack with drainage holes that hangs above the sink and works like a cupboard would kill two birds with one stone. The kitchen might look like a military encampment but it would be less work.
