I'm still kicking myself for not having those backwards chairs, by the way

There seem to be even more contenders for 1st snowboard, some with a patent; perhaps the community of snowboarders is very laid-back or just will never engage in the clash necessary to answer this

I might send this page to the Smithsonian Magazine and see what they say.

Norman, were you looking at those chairs on eBay? I was surprised no one else bid on them.

I had a Snurfer! Right around the same time my dad brought home a set of Jarts, maybe 1967 or '68?

It's a wonder any of us survived.
