OK..what is with these grandiose artists trying to peddle their "Abstract paintings" for 21 million obo on ebay. I was just doing a quick search and the first 75 where all at $21,000,000.00 obo, finally the 80th one was more reasonable at 12 million!
Is ebay just a cheap way for a crappy artist to advertise with hopes some major gallery will fondle their delusions?

I am not sure, but I think...
I am not sure, but I think they do it to get at the top of the price list, to attain some "name recognition". I knew someone, an ex-student of an art professor friend of mine, who made $30,000 a month selling her paintings on Ebay. We use to go to her sales page and add up her sales for each month (in disbelief), and for many months it averaged $30k. She did several paintings a day, and made several hundred off of each one. For years it averaged $10k a month. Those days are over for her now though, as the competition for art sales on Ebay became so vast.

Yes, he's just doing it to...
Yes, he's just doing it to get people to notice his listings. His website is given in the description, so he's hoping to direct people to that to get direct sales. I'm pretty sure Ebay doesn't allow this since they don't get any commission on the sales there, even though he's using them to advertise.
