hey guys.....howz the idea of of using a CD on both the sides...juss like the cassetts.....can v create a cd that can b used on both sides?

more over...i dont think the...
more over...i dont think the its a matter of a CD or DVD which can b used on both the sides..wat matters here is ...y cant b something that can b placed in a CD-ROM used on both the sides..just like the cassetts...

my question is why cant v use a CD or DVD on both the sides juss like the audio cassetts v use in taperecorders.. audio cassetts have two sides 'A' side and'B' side...y cant this happen with a CD or a DVD?

Sort of like a mirror........
A CD is sort of like a mirror..the 'burnt' information being like one's reflection.
A double CD is possible, but it would need to be the two chemical layers fused back-to-back..therefore more expensive..and with nowhere to put any information.
I believe they were emade for a short time..with no commercial success ...
All the information on a DVD is one side anyway..but just with two differnet focuses for the two sets of information..sort of bi-focal..
