Is this a bargain or should i pass (old cassina table)  

Hi folks,
I kind of have a straight forward question....i recently graduated and now living on my own so i'm in need of some furniture, can't really afford new furniture so i'm looking in the used furniture sections....
I found a used Cassina LC10p table from an old couple, the table has been in the garage for a few years and they are willing to sell for 250$...however the table does show some wear and tear, the paint is missing on some parts of the table and there are some very light rust spots and scratches here an there....the glass top is in good condition since its frosted textured glass the scratches don't show.
Since the frame is steel i thought about maybe paint spraying it black again, i know someone who spray paints cars so maybe he could do it.
Question is, is 250$ a real bargain for this table (it has a stamp and serial number on there) or should i just forget about it, what would you guys do?
