authentic DCM stickers? Trade question...  

Have sticker or labels ever been faked? I would imagine everything has been faked at some time. I do not believe this label has been faked and I imagine the chair is genuine. Unfortunately the shock mounts failed at some point and instead of properly repairing them they were drilled and screws were put through the wood panels. I have no way of knowing how good of a deal the trade would be.

They're parts chairs now, to be valued accordingly. If I owned them, I would be trying to get rid of them. You don't really "have no way of knowing how good of a deal the trade would be". Use your own measures and balances, it's the only way to find your own solution.

As usual, I do appreciate the measured feedback from designaddict fellows. Being somewhat of a furniture noob, I hadn't realized when I posted this, the shockmount failure common problem. I was wondering why those eyesore bolt heads were present. 
Designaddict helps so much with the homework, figuring the ins and outs of these vintage pieces. 
I do love the chairs and I think the lines are beautiful. But I won't be able to look at those bolt-heads without the "I wish those weren't there" feeling every time. 
Hoping the seller has some non-drilled that I can at least repair sans drill.

This is not a sticker but a badge.  These would be more difficult to fabricate.
