HiI have just inherited two egg type chairs.  I know these were around in the family home in the early 70s and had big bold autumn colour type stretch covers on them.  The covers in the pic are replacement and modern Does anyone know if these chairs might be worth selling?

They're not Jacobsen but they could be really nice in the right fabrics.  Yes, they are worth selling.  (This is not the place for getting appraisals, though.  See rules.)
I'd chuck the floral covers if you can get them off easily.  I'd rather see old, worn, original fabric than that fabric.

I see chairs like this a lot here, comfortable and usually in very well fitting top (king?) Stitched vinyl, aside from the horror of the mateial in the sub tropics the quality is really very good.
Then I look at the typical mid range armchair available now and wonder if we havnt gone backwards.
