I just wanted to say the patina is drop dead G!
I wonder if other versions have the big round bulbs common tho this style? Bulbs change everything on this.

Yeah,
that's cool. Seems to me it doesn't really need that bar-stock stretcher at the bottom ?
It would look cool in a bed of pea-stone, white sand, or crushed granite . . .
Yes, different lamps would make a big change. Those are ones I've never seen. Flourescent ?

in unplated brass ! Chrome negates material, substituting reflection . . .

Robert Sonneman did a few...
Robert Sonneman did a few lamp designs for Kovacs, and some of his designs had a similar use of tubular construction. Might be something to look into anyway.
